From December 10th to 12th, the CHEXPO(Macao) was held in Venice Macao people Conference Center.

For the first time this year, the CHEXPO (Macao) was held within the MIF exhibition as a single unit, which was highly valued by all parties in Macao. Chief Executive He Yicheng and his delegation visited the exhibition areas of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Zhang Boli, Liu Changxiao, Yang Baofeng, Yin Yulong, academicians of Chinese Academy of Engineering, and Chen Kaixian, academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences with leading industry experts attended the conference online and offline, gathering with well-known pharmaceutical entrepreneurs, experts of new drug research and development, and more than 100 leading enterprises and research institutions of domestic traditional medicine and big health industry. Titled "Joining hands with the TCM (traditional Chinese medicine) big health industry, build a healthy China 2030", the party will explore the deep integration mechanism of " production-learning-research", promote the R&D and industrial transformation capacity of TCM, and jointly promote the innovative development of TCM industry.

In the International Cooperation and Development Forum of the conference, Macao NPC Deputy He Jinglin said that Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin has already set up "Traditional Chinese Medicine Science and Technology Industrial Park of Co-operation between Guangdong and Macao". In the future, the development of traditional Chinese medicine should be taken as the axis to promote the establishment of cross-border developmental aggregation and linkage relationship of the traditional Chinese medicine industries between Macao and other regions.

With a view at the conference theme " Innovative research and development, industrial transformation and international expansion of Chinese medicine”, Ms. Chang Tingting, the founder and CEO of BaoFeng Biotech, expounded meticulously and comprehensively the process of Acer truncatum project, including planting, making medicine, declaration of new nervonic acid botanical innovative medicine. A discussion is taken on the declaration and cooperation of products’ landing in Macao.

Ms. Chang Tingting delivered a speech on stage, saying that BaoFeng Biotech also established BaoFeng Biotech (Hengqin, Zhuhai) in the Traditional Chinese Medicine Science and Technology Industrial Park of Co-operation between Guangdong and Macao, which is mainly responsible for research projects such as extraction of nervonic acid, pharmacology research, and application of Traditional Chinese medicine, as well as deepening cooperation with The Traditional Chinese medicine industries between Guangdong and Macao.

In September this year, the enaction of “Overall Plan for the Construction of Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin” and the unveiling of the administrative institutions of Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin has brought greater development opportunities to the traditional Chinese medicine industry. BaoFeng Biotech will closely follow the constructive pace of Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin, actively build a Macao brand industry of traditional Chinese medicine, meanwhile aiming at making greater contributions to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
